2020 seemed to last forever, and despite the pandemic, wildfires and resulting power outages, the brutal social injustice occurrences, and a contentious presidential election, there are many silver linings that have emerged perhaps because of these challenges. We have all had to be resourceful and dig deep to adapt to the changing circumstances to find new ways to process and respond in order to move forward.
In the spirit of finding new ways to engage, I'm happy to reintroduce the MBA Connect Newsletter with the goal of reconnecting with all of you, our most valued learning community - to highlight some of our students, alumni and faculty, as well as some recent program milestones. We've also included upcoming workshops and events available to all, and we hope to see you there. Specifically, please join us at our next virtual MBA Connect gathering on March 23rd at 6pm.
Our Dean, Dr. Jean Francois Coget recently kicked off a strategic development process to gather input from all stakeholders to help inform and shape a renewed plan for our future. This is a good opportunity for us to re-evaluate our current suite of graduate programs to ensure they are relevant and meeting the needs of our community. Being forced to move to an online learning environment, our faculty have learned a lot this past year, and have found some innovative solutions to engage with students. Our goal is to continue this movement of learning and adapting, so that we build on the positive outcomes for the future.
As always, I would like to invite and encourage you all to stay in touch. Please share your accomplishments, because your success is our success.
