David Bower has a lifelong wine industry background, growing up on his father's vineyard and managing the family winery. He holds a diverse education from Cornell University in Plant Sciences, Viticulture, Education, Agribusiness, and Enology. His career includes business partnership with his father, producing 5,000 wine cases, and managing 25 employees. He's a dedicated educator, teaching Enology and Wine Business at Surry Community College since 2012, and he expanded the college's program to include Wine Marketing and Winery Design & Management. At SCC, he produces 1,500 wine cases and developed the only sparkling wine production program on the east coast, earning over 65 wine medals since 2012. David also teaches Intermediate Enology for VESTA and operates a successful east-coast wine consulting business, helping bring three wineries to market in the past two years. Currently, he's completing a Master's degree in Plant Sciences at Missouri State University.
