Renata Schaefer's expertise includes teaching a variety of courses in different European locations (Poland, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, and Slovakia) as a visiting professor and supervising students in their major projects and master /bachelor dissertations. She has taught courses on International Business, International (Cross-cultural) Management, Organizational Behavior & Change, and Intercultural Business Communication. Her previous professional experience includes serving as an EU Expert at Polish-German Chamber of Commerce in Poznan and Berlin. Based on her two-year research project at Nivea Polska (Beiersdorf Group) in Poland, she wrote two business case studies that have been published at the European Case Center. Dr. Schaefer is the author of “Cross-Cultural Management in a Uniting Europe (2010) as well as many articles researching the significance of intercultural competencies, leadership styles and attributes in an international context, as well as corporate social responsibility and development of international management cadre.
