Sonoma Professional MBA Programs
Admissions Requirements

Complete Both Applications

  1. Graduate Department Application
  2. CAL STATE Apply Application

Statement of Purpose

Write and submit your statement of purpose (1-2 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt. font). 

GMAT Score

A total GMAT score of 450 and at least 20% quantitative are required. Send score to California State University-Sonoma (OCC8060). 

Professional Resume

Email your current resume to Nicki.Orser@sonoma.edu.

Academic Transcripts

One OFFICIAL  transcript mailed to SSU's Admissions & Records Office. One unofficial transcript emailed to Nicki.Orser@sonoma.edu

Wine Industry Experience

Required for Sonoma MBA in Wine Business: 2 years of wine industry experience is required to apply. Alternatively, you can waive the 2 years wine industry experience by completing the foundation and intermediate levels of the Online Certificate in Wine Business Management.

Prerequisites  

Prerequisite business courses are required to enroll in the Sonoma MBA programs. Send unofficial transcripts to Nicki.Orser@sonoma.edu for review.

Admissions Requirements

Complete Both Applications

Statement of Purpose

Write and submit your statement of purpose (1-2 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt. font). 

GMAT Score

If needed, GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) score must be at least 450. We will accept equivalent test scores on another test (GRE, LSAT, etc.) Send score to California State University-Sonoma (OCC8060). 

Professional Resume

Email your professional resume, including name and contact information for two professional references to Nicki.Orser@sonoma.edu.

Academic Transcripts

Official hard copy transcripts from where you received your bachelor's degree or your last 60 units of coursework reflect a 2.5 GPA or higher. Must show proof of completion of a Bachelor's Degree at a minimum. Must show proficiency in English

Once you have submitted all the necessary application documents, you will be scheduled for an interview with the executive director of the Graduate & Executive Programs.
